1. MEMBERSHIP
To become a member simply fill out the membership form from this website. There is a “Membership” tab located at the top of the page. There are no fees to sign up. This process simply gives us an idea of the sort of items you may order – IT IS NOT AN ACTUAL ORDER. This also enables us to contact you via email should there be any changes in our regular schedule. Memberships are plentiful and at the same time are limited. SO, SIGN UP TODAY.
2. ORDERING & PAYING
The ”Order Now” form on the website will be updated every Sunday evening or Monday morning with item availability and prices. Members are asked to look over the available items and send in their orders sometime throughout the course of the week with orders and payments due by Sunday morning at 10 am.
To order, simply use the “Order Now” form. When you are ready to complete your order you have the option of signing in to your Paypal account OR on the left side of the checkout page you can pay with a credit card. Simply follow the prompts for a quick and easy payment. That’s it.
IMPORTANT!! At the end of the order before hitting the “Pay Now” button, use the “Add Special Instructions To Merchant” field if you intend to pickup in Terrebonne at DD Ranch from 4 – 6 pm on Wednesday, ordered Micro Greens and wish to specify a particular variety, or have any other information you’d like us to know.
We encourage all of our members to utilize this quick and easy online payment method, and we will still accept orders and payments one week in advance on Tuesdays at our pickup location. Members are welcome to give us their orders and pay for them in cash.
3. PICKUP
Every Tuesday, Agricultural Connections makes its rounds to the numerous farms throughout the region. Upon gathering all of the produce, dairy products, mushrooms, eggs, meats, etc AC and its members meet at our pickup location on Tuesday evenings in Bend or Wednesday evenings in Terrebonne.
Please bring a bag to the pickup location and we will fill it with your order. Please do not forget to pick up your orders on Tuesdays in Bend or Wednesdays in Terrebonne if you did not order the delivery service. We understand that work schedules and other priorities can sometimes interfere with the schedule we have proposed above which is why we have a delivery service. If you are not in the delivery zone, or for some other reason do not want delivery, and can’t make it to the pickup location on time, please contact us in advance via phone or email to try and resolve the logistics.
Any orders that are not picked up and/or if we are not contacted by the member to cancel the order will be distributed to other members, local restaurants, or the local food kitchen. We cannot credit forgotten orders as these items are perishable and are paid for by AC on the week they are ordered by the members.
GLASS BOTTLE DEPOSITS
Because Noris Dairy uses glass bottles for all of its liquid dairy products, a bottle deposit fee of $2 is paid for each bottle which is already included in the price on the “Order Now” form. Upon returning the bottles to Agricultural Connections we will reimburse your $2 for each bottle returned at that time.
DELIVERY OPTION
Cascade Couriers is offering their services for home delivery to Bend residents on Wednesday mornings for $5. Check out the boundary map provided on the Cascade Couriers website to make sure that you are eligible for delivery – http://www.cascadecouriers.com/boundaries.html. Disregard the rate information on this webpage as all deliveries are $5 regardless of the zone you happen to live in.
Members are responsible for products that are left on their porch if they are not home to receive their order. If you won’t be present, plan ahead and take measures to keep items from going bad – contact a neighbor, have an ice chest ready, etc. Return clean bottles to Cascade Couriers to receive your bottle deposits back.
